Why is that the silent fart smells worse than a noisy one??

i am damn serious abt this....i have been wondering abt it right frm childhood...if i ever earn enough money, i will appoint a team of scientists to research on the reason behind this phenomenon and also on how the energy released through a fart can be harnessed for the benefit of mankind. Logical answers will be appreciated.Why is that the silent fart smells worse than a noisy one??
Senorita FartsALot here to answer your question! Save your millions on scientists and I'll tell you for free. A silent fart is one that has been building up for sometime. It is packed with gastric juices, (otherwise known as an "aresol turd"), odiferous elements of human waste, small food fragments covered in fecal decor, etc. (Sorry, I'm getting all scientific on your butt!) You see there are 2 conclusions in your fart quest. The first conclusion is when a fart has been brewing behind the bodily cavity known as the anus abdominus, it packs in a "punch" of odor if you will. A fart that has not been brewing for a period of time, likes to shoot out like a fart rocket.
The second theory, comes into play if you have a large anal cavity. When the anus cavitus is enlarged, or expanded, it will not cause it to go: "pffft." Instead, it is silent with a small wind gust only noticeble to the guilty party.

I've heard this but it's the same gas
I don't know....I've always wondered this myself. =/ Maybe because if it's silent, and didn't smell bad and no one would know you farted so it has to have a smell to make it fair. And a noisy one doesn't smell because everyone already knows you farted and adding a bad smell just causes more embarrassment and making it unfair. Maybe it's your body's own fairness system that controls all this. =P
